इस साल चांद के दीदार के बाद 25 मई सोमवार को ईद मनाई जा रही है।

हालांकि  इस साल कोरोना संकट को देखते हुए ईद सेलीब्रेशन पर कुछ असर जरूर दिखेगा, पर आप सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पालन करते हुए लोगों से ईद मनाएं और वैसे भी एक-दूसरे से गले ना मिलने की अपील की जा रही है।

इसलामी कैलंडर के सभी महीनों की तरह यह भी नए चाँद के दिखने पर शुरू होता है। मुसलमानों का त्योहार ईद मूल रूप से भाईचारे को बढ़ावा देने वाला त्योहार है.इस त्योहार को सभी आपस में मिल के मनाते है और खुदा से सुख-शांति और बरक्कत के लिए दुआएं मांगते हैं। पूरे विश्व में ईद की खुशी पूरे हर्षोल्लास से मनाई जाती है।

उपवास की समाप्ति की खुशी के अलावा इस ईद में मुसलमान अल्लाह का शुक्रिया अदा इसलिए भी करते हैं कि उन्होंने महीने भर के उपवास रखने की शक्ति दी. ईद के दौरान बढ़िया खाने के अतिरिक्त नए कपड़े भी पहने जाते हैं और परिवार और दोस्तों के बीच तोहफ़ों का आदान-प्रदान होता है. सिवैया इस त्योहार की सबसे जरूरी खाद्य पदार्थ है जिसे सभी बड़े चाव से खाते हैं।

ईद के मौके पर सभी अपने परिजनों, दोस्तों और जाननेवालों को ईद की मुबारकबाद देते हैं. अब लोग अपने दूर बैठे दोस्तों को online message करते हैं।
