Bundi (Rajasthan), 29 Nov: Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav asked people to vote for his party terming it a true secular party of all religions and communities.

Criticising Congress and BJP parties of the state, Singh said SP was a party of farmers and the poor and had always worked for their welfare.

Speaking at an election rally here yesterday, the SP chief said the present situation in the state demanded an immediate change of the government and that change should be in favour of SP.

Mulayam blamed the Congress for having killed the ideology of Gandhi.

Singh promised the women at the rally that he would gift them five sarees next time, so that they could attend such meetings in nice clothes. He apologized for not doing so this time because of the model code of conduct of the Election.

Around 1500 people attended the public meeting held in favour of Sandeep Purohit, SP candidate from Bundi constituency.
