Ujjain: In a case of misidentification, a brother and sister were brutally beaten up some Bajrang Dal activists, sources said.

Activists of Bajrang Dal, who were gathered outside the Vikram University to oppose love birds from celebrating Valentine Day, misidentified them and manhandled the boy brutally.

Later, girl came down heavily on Bajrang Dal activists for beating her real brother.

Soon after the incident, the police officials posted at university campus came out and brought the situation under control.

However, no FIR has been registered in this regard.

It is worth mentioning here that some Hindu outfits have announced total ban on Valentine Day celebrations. The Hindu outfits like VHP, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena and Sri Ram Sene have also said that they if any couple found roaming together on streets, park or restaurants, the will be tied in nuptial knot.
