Two BSF jawans died in JammuJammu, Dec 2: Two Border Security Force (BSF) jawans have died of Malaria and 58 others have been receiving treatment for the disease here, a BSF spokesman said today.
The deceased jawans, who had come from Chhattisgarh, were on election duty at Samba here and died at Government Medical College (GMC) hospital where they were getting medical treatment for Malaria since November 29, he said. Mohammad Hashim Din (washerman) died in hospital on November 29 while another jawan Devinder Singh expired on intervening night of November 30 and December 1, the spokesman said adding the jawans were infected with the disease before coming to the state.
