Imphal, Oct 25 Three unidentified militants have been killed in separate militancy-related incidents in Manipur's Imphal east district, police said today.

Sources said an unidentified militant was killed in an encounter with police commandos, attached to Imphal east district police station, in an encounter at around 8 p.m.

last night at Langdum area, about 10 kms south of here.

In another encounbter, two other unidentified militants were killed at Naharup area, about 6 kms east of here, at around 10 p.m. with police commandos attached to the same police station, sources said.

One 9mm pistol, hand grenade, one motore cycle and some other weapons were recovered from the two spots, sources said adding that the bodies have been sent to Regional Institute of Medical Science and Hospital here for post mortem.

Over 400 persons have so far been killed in militancy-related incidents in Manipur this year.
