    Sushmita Sen turns poetess

New Delhi: After mesmerizing audiences by her performances in movies, Miss universe Sushmita Sen has turned poetess. Now-a-days she is busy in penning down poetry. Poetry is a strong medium of expression, she considers.

She said that poetry doesn't need any role. It is a significant aspect of one's creative expression. She has brilliantly portrayed a struggling girl in a metro in her poem Wo Ladki. She writes Palako ke sahare, sapano ke kinare dil ki baate karati wo ladki. Khula aasman, Sooni galiya Dard bhari Baate Karati wo ladki. (With help of eyelids, with edge of dreams, she expresses her feelings. Open sky, deserted pavements, she expresses the trauma of her life).

When asked about working in a film based on life of Pakistan's late former premier Benazir Bhutto to be made by Pakistani director, she said, “nothing has been decided yet." "Producers are trying to take permission from Pakistan Peoples Party," she added.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistani producers Jayed Azeej and Heena's Karachi based vision and Licestor based Sun Films respectively have planned to produce a film based on life of late Benazir Bhutto. Speaking on the controversy of Karma and Holi, Sushmita pointed out, " I have objected over few scenes in the film. I don't have to say anything else."

She said that neither she believes in number game nor in failures. If she likes story, she acts. Sushmita Sen, who won the miss universe title in 1994, has worked in films like Dastak, Sirf Tum, and Fiza, Filhal, and Main Hoo Na.
