New Delhi: The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today called on President Pratibha Patil to brief her on his London visit where he attended the G-20 summit on the global financial meltdown.

The Prime Minister also briefed her on his meeting with the US President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the summit in the first substantive meeting between the two leaders.

An official spokesperson of the Rashtrapati Bhavan said both Singh and Patil also discussed other issues of national and international importance during their 45-minute meeting.
