Meeting with Rajnath was formal, says Amar





New Delhi: Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh said that his party cannot join hands with Bharatiya Janata Party till the latter drops Ram Janma Bhoomi issue.

Settling down the froth of speculations that arouse after his meeting with BJP leader Rajnath Singh at a marriage party, Amar Singh said, ‘It was nothing more than a formal meeting. We will not go for a tie-up with BJP till it drops Ram Mandir, Section 370 and common civil code issues.'

Rajnath Singh, on the other hand, indicated a positive vibe for SP. Talking to the reporters about this ‘formal meeting', Singh said, ‘No party is untouchable'.
