Mumbai: Katrina Kaif stepping the ladder of success one after the other,adding more and more name and fame to herself. And this time it is the honour of being Barbie doll.

Well, no movies of Katz babe, relating with Barbie doll is coming. Instead Barbie dolls itself, Yes,the toy brand Mattel has decided to design a Barbie with Katrina's face as a mark of celebration of their 50th year.

This is a great honor for Katrina who says she was overwhelmed with the news. She added this idea of Barbie doll is very much unique and touching when the matter is related with kids and her fans.

The dolls will be in stores by December'09. Katz a bit sad, as she had no time to see the progress of the designs as she had been busy with her new releases lately, though she is curiously waiting to see the doll as soon as she is back.

Reports tell that, Mattel approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan first, but she declined the offer due to lack of time. Quite nice for Katz, she was approached next who grabbed up the opportunity. “Every girl child has grown up playing with Barbie dolls, and so have I. It really feels great,” says Katrina.

Katrina is the 1st Indian celebrity to be designed as a Barbie doll. Right from children to grown ups everyone is excited to see their favourite in Barbie doll.
