Mumbai: The Cricket fever will take its toll once again as the ICC World Cup 2011 will begin on Feb 18 in Bangladesh while the final match of the tournament will be hosted in India.

The ICC World Cup 2011 schedule was released here on Tuesday after Central Organising Committee headed by former Cricket Board President Sharad Pawar.

International Cricket Council's Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat also attended the meeting at BCCI office here.

According to the sources, the first match of the tournament will be played on Feb 19.
India will host 29 matches at eight venues while Bangladesh will host eight matches to be played on two venues.

Pakistan, who was barred from hosting the World cup due to attack on Sri Lankan team in Lahore, was supposed to host 14 matches.
Those matches will be played in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the sources added.

India and Sri Lanka will host one semifinal match each while the icing on the cake comes to the former. India will get to host the final match of the tournament.
