'Grade system' in CBSE Class 10th board in 2010





New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will introduce the 'Grade System' for the Class 10th from the year 2010.

The CBSE Class 10 board examination as optional to be introduced in the year 2011. The internal assessment system in class IX will be introduced this year.

The Union HRD minister Kapil Sibal said that the grading system will be introduced from 2009-10 and students can take exams on demand after the board is abolished.

"Grading system will be introduced from 2009-10," Sibal said.

While announcing the changes, Sibal said that students can take examinations on demand after the board is abolished.

"Class X examinations of CBSE will be made optional from 2010-11", he added.

Meghagrading system is very good......this should be done earlier.
pragyaits ol rubish..!! d grading system just spoils d mud 4 preparing 4 exams...!! its FOOLISH n should be removed...!!!
