Eeram movie review: A mixture of crime, horror thrillerTags: Eeram , Movie review Banner: S Pictures Starcast: Nandaa, Aadhi, Sindhu Menon, Chaya Singh Direction: Arivazhagan Production: Shankar Music: Thaman 'Eeram' means dampness. The young director Arivazhagan has come with an excellent and unfamiliar script. The Tamil movie 'Eeram' is brilliantly blended with crime thriller and taste of horror in one flick. The movie was produced under the banner of S Pictures by Producer Shankar. The young director Arivazhagan deserves praise for justifying the title Eeram through out the movie. The use of word dampness in the script and camerawork is superb. The movie starts with crime and ends with horror thriller. In the beginning, actor Aadhi (Vasudevan), who plays a character of police officials, takes up the murder case of Ramya (Sindhu Menon). Initially it looks like a suicide case but as the investigation begins, Vasudevan sniffs some foul play. Ramya's husband Bala, a character played by Nandha, surfaces as prime suspect in the case. But serial murders in the apartments made the mystery complicated. The director has used the flashback as major component in the case. It reveals that Vasudevan was Ramya's lover a few years ago. And the findings of the case are shocking. The director has successfully used the dialogues to create suspense and thriller. Movie runs successfully in the first half but it becomes slow after intermission. Last one hour is full of suspense and horror. All the characters of the movie are good. Besides some flaws during investigation, the 'Eeram' is fresh and unique script produced by the Tamil Cinema history. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Share it
