Lucknow: Short Message Service is all set to add joy to Diwali celebrations. From teenagers to elder people, everyone chooses a diwali sms to greet his friends and relatives.

In the city of Nawabs, this year diwali sms will be doing round for creating awareness on environment. Social activist Gaurav Pandey has a unique plan for diwali. He will be sending around one thousand diwali smss to create awareness about environment.

Pandey's sms for diwali is 'Plant a tree, save environment'. His friend Shekhar Srivastava has also decided to join his campaign for cause of environment.

Anamika Mishra had written around 15 smss to greet her friends. Her smss also have an appeal to make environment green. Some of her messages are:

'Plant a plantlet to make environment healthy'. 'Celebrate diwali by planting a sapling'.'Green is great scene'. 'Save trees, live healthy'. 'Go green, this diwali'. 'Make your Diwali celebration double by planting a tree.' Say happy with Diwali, set a plant.'
