Mumbai: Shahid Kapur and Rani Mukerji starrer 'Dil Bole Hadippa' became the first Bollywood film to have been premiered at the currently going TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) before the film has released in India.

The debutant director Anurag Singh is pretty excited about his movie, he says, "I am over the moon at this honor given to Dil Bole Hadippa as it became the first-ever Bollywood movie to be shown at the auspicious festival. It is a kind of movie that has masala, romance, comedy and every thing for the Indian family. Its splendid music will be a blast."

The project has been completed under Yash Raj Films production. The movie comprises of some awesome stars like Sherlyn Chopra, Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil and Rakhi Sawant. The movie has been shot mainly in the rural sections of Punjab.

"Another unique feature about this film is that there is not even a hint of any modern city or tall buildings in it. We did all our shooting in villages outside Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Amritsar somewhat over 80 days," the director said.
The movie will hit the silverscreen in India and abroad on September 18th.
