Ujjain: Kapat of world famous Nagchandrakeshwar has been opened on Saturday night at 00 hours for devotees. Thousands of devotees are thronging the temple to offer prayers as it opens once in a year. The administration has made elaborate arrangement, keeping in view heavy crowd of devotees.

Located at the upper portion of the world-famous Mahakaleshwar temple, Lord Nagchandrakeshwar temple opens once in a year on the occasion of Nagpanchami.

In the temple, Idol of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are ensconced on the seven snakes' throne. Such an extraordinary Idol is nowhere in the world.

Large crowd of devotees are reaching the temple to pay their obeisance in the temple. The temple will remain open till 00.00 hours on Sunday.
