Thailand: In a clear message to China, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao that Dalai Lama is India's honoured guest.

During meeting with Jiabao in Thailand, Manmohan said that Dalai Lama is country's honoured guest and he can freely move across the country.

"The spiritual leader is our honoured guest and is free to travel anywhere."

The statement came just right after his meeting with Wen Jiabao. He further said that he discussed the crucial issues like boundary dispute and Dalai Lama issue.

The Prime Minister's statement was a clear indication that Arunachal Pradesh is important part of India and will not accept any interfere from China in it.

Earlier, China had raised strong objections to the Dalai Lama's proposed visit to the monastery town of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh earlier.

China had also gone on to object to the Prime Minister's visit to Arunachal Pradesh during campaigning for the recently held assembly elections in the state.
