Mumbai, June 18 : Arrested NCP leader Padamsinh Patil today alleged ill-treatment by investigating agency CBI and moved an application in a court in Panvel in this regard.

In his application, the MP, arrested in connection with the 2006 murder of Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar, said CBI is ill-treating him by not providing him basic amenities like toilet and seating facilities.

"The Panvel court had directed the CBI to provide Patil with these basic amenities considering his age and health. However, the CBI has not followed the court order and thus the court should initiate 'contempt' proceeding against the agency," the application said.

The Panvel court will hear the application tomorrow.
