Washington, Nov 30: Asserting that terrorists will not have the last word, the US President George W Bush promised to provide "full support" to India in its investigation into the terror attacks in Mumbai that claimed 183 lives, including several foreigners.

"We pledge the full support of the United States as India investigates these attacks, brings the guilty to justice and sustains its democratic way of life," Bush said at the White House.

He said "terror will not have the final word" and "resilient" Indians will withstand the trial.

He earlier discussed with senior officials and diplomats, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Ambassador to India David Mulford, the situation arising out of the terror attacks.
