New Delhi, May 2 : BJP today had a dig at its former leader Kalyan Singh for his remark that certain leaders in the party had conspired to have him removed as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in the aftermath of Babri Masjid demolition saying he seemed to recall certain facts after a long time.

"He seems to recall certain facts after 17 years have passed. However, going by the turns his political journey have taken, especially in the last few months (his coming close to Samajwadi Party), nothing remains to be said," BJP leader Arun Jaitley told reporters here.

Kalyan earlier in the day, while campaigning in western Uttar Pradesh for Lok Sabha elections, alleged certain BJP leaders were thinking how to remove him as he belonged to the backward caste community, something which was not acceptable to the party.
