New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party accepted defeat in the Lok Sabha elections 2009.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP spokesman Balbir Punj said that the initial trends projected that Congress-led UPA is far ahead in the elections.

He said that the trends in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan was disappointing while Kerala, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, party has totally failed to put good show.

Latest trends shows that UPA leading on 228 while NDA on 154, Third Front ahead on 87 seats.
