Kolkata: Tata Sons chairman Ratan Tata on Sunday expressed his deep sorrow at the demise of Marxist patriarch and former West Bengal chief minister Jyoti Basu.

"We view his passing with great sorrow. He was a great leader of the nation and of the state. He will be missed by all," Tata said in a statement.
