Karachi: Anees Ibrahim, prime accused in March 1993 Mumbai blasts was injured when gunmen opened fire at him late in the night on Thursday, said sources.

According to the sources, the shooting took place near Al Habib Bank where underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's brother Anees Inbrahim was shot at.

Sources claim that Baluchi gang is suspected behind the incident. Atleast 12 rounds of bullets were fired on Anees ibrahim by the assailants.

It is worth mentioning here Dawood Ibrahim's other brother Ibrahim Noora (50) died after a massive cardiac arrest in Karachi recently. He was undergoing treatment in a hospital at Karachi.

Noora left India after Mumbai blast in 1993. Since then he was living in Karachi with his brother. He used to visit Dubai.

Noora was considered to be the right hand of Dawood Ibrahim in D Company. He looked after D company's business.
